Basic Homes Loan ("we," "us," "our") is an independent home loan advisory and Direct Selling Agent (DSA) service operating in Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India. We are not a bank, NBFC, or direct lender. We help individuals compare home loan and Loan Against Property (LAP) offers from 20+ leading banks and NBFCs.
This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website at www.basichomesloan.com (the "Site"), including the lead enquiry form, EMI calculator, and all other interactive features.
By submitting your details on the Site or contacting us via phone or WhatsApp, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We collect two categories of data: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the Site.

We do not collect: Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, bank account details, income documents, or any financial documents through this Site. Such documents are shared only directly with banks during the loan application process.
Sensitive personal data: We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data as defined under the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 and the DPDP Act, 2023.
How We Use Your Data

- Lead follow-up: Our loan advisors will contact you by phone or WhatsApp within 1 hour of form submission to understand your requirements and provide personalised loan recommendations.
- Loan matching: We use your loan preferences (type, amount, employment) to match you with suitable bank or NBFC offers.
- Bank referral: With your explicit verbal or written consent during the advisory call, your details are shared with the selected lending institution for loan processing.
- Service improvement: Aggregated, anonymised analytics data (Google Analytics 4) helps us improve the Site's usability, content, and performance.
- Advertising optimisation: UTM parameters allow us to measure which Google Ads campaigns deliver the most relevant enquiries, helping us reduce wasteful ad spend.
- Legal compliance: We may use or retain data to comply with applicable Indian laws, regulatory requirements, or to respond to legal proceedings.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing beyond the loan advisory service you have requested. We do not send bulk SMS or email blasts.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share your personal data only in the following circumstances:
- Lending partners (banks & NBFCs): If you choose to apply for a loan after our advisory call, your name, phone number, and loan preferences are shared with the chosen lending institution(s). This sharing is necessary to process your loan application and is done with your knowledge and consent.
- Google (Analytics & Ads): Anonymised browsing and interaction data is sent to Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads for performance measurement. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Internal team: Your lead data is stored in a secure Google Sheet accessible only to authorised Basic Homes Loan team members and the designated campaign managers.
- Legal requirement: We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority in India.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their independent marketing or commercial use, under any circumstances.
As a DSA (Direct Selling Agent), we operate under the referral guidelines of each lending bank. Our sharing of your data with a bank is governed by that bank's privacy policy. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the bank you choose to apply to.

Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:
- Lead form data (name, phone, loan preferences): Retained for up to 3 years from the date of submission to allow follow-up on loan applications in progress and to comply with DSA record-keeping requirements under bank guidelines.
- Analytics data: Retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months by default (as configured in our GA4 property). Aggregated reports may be retained indefinitely.
- Google Ads conversion data: Retained in accordance with Google's standard data retention policies (typically 90 days for click-level data).
After the applicable retention period, personal data is deleted from our Google Sheet and any internal records. You may also request early deletion — see Section 7 below.
Your Rights Under Indian Law
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian privacy laws, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by us:
- Right to Access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any overriding legal or regulatory retention obligations.
